As a professional dancer and performer, Jennifer was first drawn to Yoga and Pilates in search of a practice that would establish a strong physical foundation and aid with injury rehabilitation.  Trained in classical ballet from a young age, she developed sense of movement early on, and over the years became increasingly interested in the many ways to cultivate stability and strength through alignment based practices.  Witnessing the positive impacts these practices had on her well being and health, Jennifer decided to further her training and begin teaching others, hoping to pass along the joy she has found on the mat.  Most recently, she completed the 200 hour Teacher Training under the direction of Leanne Kitteridge of Shibui Yoga, and her Balanced Body Pilates Mat Certification.  Jennifer encourages her students to come into class with an open mind, ready to work hard, have fun and experience the amazing benefits of movement!
