RE-OPENING JUNE 1ST UPDATE!!!

Dear friends,

We are very excited to announce the studio will be re-opening on June 1st for both yoga and Pilates. We look forward to seeing everyone again! Over the next 2 weeks we will be preparing the studio and putting the new schedules together, and we want to let you know what to expect when you return. There are a number of changes to how the studio will operate, so please read through the details below, and get back to us with all of your questions.  The best way to communicate your questions and concerns will be to email the studio. To our senior and immune compromised clients, you can email the studio and Janet will get back to you directly to address your concerns.

  3. All classes will be unheated
  4. Maximum of 8 people per class. We have placed markers on the floor of the yoga studio to indicate where you should set up your mat, in order to maintain 6 feet of distance between students.
  5. Pilates Mat classes will also be held in the yoga studio
  6. All classes will be pre-register only (no drop ins). We will open up the classes for sign up 7 days in advance of the class. You can pre-register for classes as of May 24, by visiting our website, through Mindbody, or by calling or emailing the studio. If the class is fully booked, we can put you on a wait list and email you when a spot comes available.
  7. In order to give everyone the greatest opportunity to attend classes given the much smaller class sizes, we have to implement a few rules:
    1. We require 48 hours notice to cancel a class reservation. A cancellation fee will apply for late notice.
    2. Attendance limit of 1 class/day.
  8. To maintain social distancing we ask that you arrive at the studio not more than 10 minutes before the class start time.
  9. Blocks, mats, straps, and bolsters will not be available for rent at the studio. Please bring your own. If you would like to purchase any of these accessories, please let us know, and we can help.
  10. Monthly Autopay Unlimited memberships – if your membership was suspended due to the shutdown, you have 30 days from June 1st to restart your contract at your legacy price. After June 30, you will have to sign a new contract.
  11. Unlimited Fixed Term memberships (no contract) – expiry date will be extended to account for the shutdown.
  12.  Visit memberships – all expiry dates for visit memberships will be extended by 3 months.

Guidelines (for everybody!) to keep the Evolution community safe

  1. Please arrive at the studio in your workout gear. Our washrooms will be available for use, but we would like to minimize their use as much as possible.
  2. Please take all of your personal items into the classrooms with you. You should leave your shoes on until just before entering the class.
  3. There will be a hand sanitizing station at the front entrance. Please use it every time you enter the studio.
  4. We have placed markers on the floor in the reception area and hallways. Please observe social distancing.

Self Screening

We expect you to screen yourself for illness prior to coming to class. Please follow the protocols listed below:

  1. Check your temperature – if it is over 100.4 STAY HOME
  2. If you have been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 STAY HOME
  3. If you are experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat STAY HOME
  4. If you have had a fever in the last 48 hours STAY HOME
  5. If you have had a new loss of taste or smell STAY HOME
  6. If you have had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours come on down…just kidding…STAY HOME

Take care and see you soon!
