Although she practiced yoga for many years, Shyama-Priya began her formal teacher training five years ago, inspired by both personal experience and cultural lineage. Shyama‵s late father, originally from Bihar India, embodied yoga as part of his identity, and stepping into this path has been a meaningful way to honor her roots while sharing yoga as an inclusive, accessible practice for all. She always wants her students to feel welcomed and supported in their practice. Shyama‵s style is engaging, uplifting, and often comes with diverse music and a mini sound bath.
″Yoga has been a transformative force throughout my life—guiding my healing, supporting my well-being, and continually bringing me back to myself.‶ – Shyama-Priya
